Security starting points

A few decisions to get started

Proposed initial scope

Demonstrate one Puerto Rico regulatory assessment workflow using one fictional matter and synthetic business data. The proposed starting point is a land-use and permit requirements assessment; your team can select another workflow below.

Participants
A small group of named firm reviewers, a designated security review owner and SmartPR’s implementation team. Confirm the reviewers and final workflow before the demonstration.
What we will demonstrate
Capture the matter’s facts, identify potentially applicable permits and requirements, show supporting sources, flag missing information and organize a draft requirements and readiness report.
What your team receives
A sample assessment for attorney review, a list of unresolved questions and a proposed data-flow and security plan for deciding whether to proceed.
How we evaluate it
Your reviewers check the requirements, source support, missing facts and usefulness of the draft. Agree on corrections and security requirements before moving to a limited pilot.
Initial boundaries
No confidential client data, production integrations, live agency logins, filings, signatures or payments. Outputs support professional review and do not establish a legal determination or permit approval.

Next stage: A limited pilot with real matters requires a separately agreed user group, workflow, duration, hosting and data-handling controls, plus the firm’s approval before client data is introduced.

What is Clara?

Clara is SmartPR’s AI browser assistant. It is designed to use information from a business profile to guide supported regulatory workflows, navigate agency websites and help prepare form entries. It asks for missing information as needed.

For this initial demonstration, Clara’s role is limited to a supervised walkthrough with synthetic data. Access to real agency accounts and any transfer of information require separate review and approval. Authorized people retain control of signatures, payments and final submissions.

02Confirm the initial demonstration scope

Review the proposed scope above: one fictional matter, one regulatory assessment workflow, source-backed draft requirements and attorney review. Select a preferred workflow or describe a requested change in the exceptions field.

03Hosting and AI processing

SmartPR will prepare a dedicated cloud proposal identifying the host, region, models and processors for review. This does not approve a provider.

04Identity and access

For confidential use, we propose named users, MFA, restricted matter access and logged support access. Is firm SSO mandatory?

05Clara and agency access

Clara is SmartPR’s AI browser assistant, explained above. Include only a supervised synthetic-data walkthrough at first. Real agency accounts, destinations and data transfers need separate approval; authorized people control signatures, payments and final submissions.

06Existing security policies

Share a reference or tell us what applies. SmartPR will propose retention, deletion and incident procedures for review where needed.

Exceptions or requirements optional

Please do not include passwords, MFA codes, client information or confidential policy documents. We will arrange an appropriate channel if needed.
